Private Coaching Agreement

My Commitment to You

My role as your divorce coach is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly about what you're experiencing. I will listen, ask thoughtful questions, offer perspective, and help you gain clarity as you navigate decisions, emotions, communication, co-parenting, and the changes that come with divorce.

I will be honest with you, encourage you, challenge you when appropriate, and support you in identifying choices and next steps that feel right for you. My goal is to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and intention.

Coaching Sessions

Private coaching is available in the following monthly options:

2 coaching sessions per month — $395/month

4 coaching sessions per month — $640/month

Each monthly coaching plan begins on the date of enrollment and renews on approximately the same date each month. Your sessions are associated with your individual billing period rather than the calendar month.

Coaching sessions are 45-55 minutes long and are conducted by phone or Zoom, based on the method agreed upon when scheduling.

For phone sessions, I will call you at the scheduled time using the phone number you have provided. For Zoom sessions, I will provide you with a meeting link before your scheduled session.

Please plan to be in a private location with a reliable phone or internet connection and be ready at your scheduled appointment time. To protect the privacy of our coaching relationship, please let me know if another person is present or able to hear our conversation.

Investment & Billing

Clients may pay by credit/debit card through my website or by Zelle.

Credit/Debit Card: Your selected coaching plan will be charged automatically each month using the payment method provided at enrollment. Recurring billing will continue until canceled.

Zelle: Clients who choose Zelle are responsible for submitting their monthly payment by the agreed-upon monthly due date. Zelle payments are not automatically processed. Coaching may be paused if payment has not been received.

While I generally recommend allowing approximately three months for the coaching process, there is no required three-month commitment.

Cancellation requests may be submitted by text or email and require at least 7 days' notice before your next scheduled billing or payment due date. If cancellation is received less than 7 days before that date, the upcoming monthly payment may still be processed or due, and the cancellation will take effect before the following billing cycle.

Payments already processed or submitted are non-refundable.

Having unused sessions does not pause or postpone recurring monthly billing or the monthly payment due date. Your selected coaching plan will continue month-to-month until canceled.

Unused Sessions

Coaching sessions are intended to be used during the billing period in which they are purchased. Your billing period begins on your enrollment date and continues until your next monthly billing date. However, I understand that life happens.

Paid sessions that remain unused may be carried forward and used for up to three months from their original purchase date. After three months, unused sessions expire and are non-refundable.

If you cancel private coaching, any previously paid unused sessions will remain available for up to three months from their original purchase date.

Rescheduling, Cancellations & No-Shows

If you need to reschedule a coaching session, please notify me by text or email at least 48 hours in advance. I will do my best to reschedule your session as soon as possible.

Paid sessions canceled with at least 48 hours' notice may be rescheduled, subject to the three-month expiration period described above.

Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours' notice may be forfeited.

If you do not attend a scheduled session and have not contacted me, the session will be considered a no-show after 15 minutes and will be forfeited.

Occasionally, I may need to reschedule a session. Whenever possible, I will provide at least one week's notice. In the case of illness or an unexpected emergency, advance notice may not be possible, and we will reschedule the session as soon as reasonably possible.

Between-Session Support

Private coaching includes reasonable access to me between scheduled sessions by text and email for brief questions, follow-up, encouragement, and support as situations arise.

If something comes up that would be easier to discuss by phone, you may text me to request a brief call. When my schedule allows, I will make every effort to arrange a same-day call of up to 15 minutes. Same-day availability cannot be guaranteed.

I enjoy providing this additional level of support and do not charge separately for brief between-session communication. If a situation requires more in-depth discussion, we may decide that it would be better addressed during a scheduled coaching session.

Text and email messages will generally receive a response within one business day, Monday–Friday, excluding holidays.

Confidentiality

Information shared during our coaching relationship will be treated as confidential and will not be intentionally disclosed to others without your permission, except when disclosure is required by law or legal process.

Coaching may include communication by phone, Zoom, text, and email. While reasonable measures are taken to protect your privacy, electronic communications cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure. By participating in coaching and communicating through these methods, you acknowledge and accept these limitations.

Your Role & Responsibility

Coaching is a collaborative process. You agree to take an active role by being honest with yourself and with me, communicating openly, and letting me know what you need in order to get the most from our coaching relationship.

You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions, and results. Coaching provides support, perspective, and guidance, but you are responsible for deciding what actions, if any, you choose to take.

Scope of Coaching

You understand that Cari D'Angelo is a Certified Divorce Coach and is not acting as your attorney, psychotherapist, financial advisor, medical provider, or other licensed professional through this coaching relationship.
